Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail!!!

The old adage of, “Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail”, is definitely true for many different occasions; arranging a surprise Birthday or Anniversary Party, organising a family house move or building extension, planning a Wedding, applying for a new job?  All of theses everyday events could be a disaster if you don’t take time to plan for them properly.  A Family Birthday or Anniversary Party takes quite a lot of planning; invitations, catering, a venue, decorations, a big cake, all these things need to be thought about and planned for.

Organising a house move is probably the most stressful thing you will ever have to plan for!  Solicitors, Estate Agents, Surveyors and Building Societies let alone cardboard boxes and packing materials along with the endless hours spent wrapping delicate china and ornaments in endless rolls of bubble wrap!  Planning for a home extension is nowhere near as stressful but still requires a check-list to follow; builders, surveyors and Planning Maps.  What about planning for probably the biggest and most important day of your life?  A Wedding has to be up there with organising a house move and equally as stressful.

Setting a date, agreeing on a venue, shopping for the Wedding Dress, sending out hundreds of invitations, arranging a good Caterer, Cake tasting, booking a reliable photographer and having fun on the Hen night and Stag Do’s.

Last but not least, what about when you are applying for that new, exciting, job position, you definitely need to plan for that? Find out about the Company, what is their Mission Statement, Policies etc.
