Thickness is a major decision when selecting laminate flooring as it affects how things feel underfoot, how long your floor will last, how much noise is absorbed, and how much sub-floor preparation will be needed. So how do you pick? Here are some tips.
Noise and feel

This can be important to prevent noise nuisance, although underlays can also be used with 8mm flooring for added protection. Durability and setting
